This Qualified Rigger Training course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to meet OSHA requirements for safe rigging practices. The program covers crane dynamics, hazard recognition, rigging hardware, sling selection and inspection, specialty lifting equipment, and the responsibilities of a qualified rigger. Through a mix of classroom instruction and practical exercises, attendees will learn how to properly calculate load weights, identify hazards, inspect equipment, and apply best practices to ensure safe lifting operations. Course completion requires a brief written and practical exam.
Certification is valid for 5 years.
