This 3-hour interactive workshop is designed to cover several important areas of leadership skill development and you will walk away with an action plan you can initiated immediately to continue to improve your leadership skills as well as impact your business. Additionally, the workshop may give you insight into the larger Construction University Leadership and Management Program and help determine if further participation would be impactful for you (and maybe others in your organization). THIS IS A HYBRID COURSE.
The Leadership Skills Workshop (depending on time and group direction) will include these topics:
* Identifying our greatest challenges and identifying individual strengths
* Recognizing the cost of poor communication and discovering easy changes we can make to get the right results the first time
* We’ll focus on customer service, the lifetime value of our customer, and discuss ways to improve the customer experience or perception
* We will apply a fast brainstorming technique to the outcome from the previous exercise – a technique we as managers can use to build ongoing agreement and ownership with our teams
* We will consider a technique for monthly reviews with our direct reports that allows us to better coach and mentor
* We will consider the importance of recognition and walk through a brief recognition exercise
* Lastly, we will develop individual action plans with the goal to practice or implement at least one takeaway from the workshop.
