HEAT ILLNESS

Employers are required to train employees in preparation for hot environments, whether indoors or outdoors, or when temperatures exceed 85°F and/or humidity is high. Heat Illness Prevention covers essential topics for both employees and supervisors, with sessions lasting 1 hour for employees and 1.5 hours for supervisors. It also covers what to expect from OSHA site visits. Focus is on risk factors, prevention, incident procedures, and more. CCR Title 8 Section 3395 and CCR Title 8 Section 3203 compliant.

Mandated Employee Training elements: 1-hour

Mandated Supervisor Training elements: 1.5-hours

 

OSHA VISIT PREPARATION

Have you ever been visited by OSHA? This course will provide an overview of how Cal OSHA inspectors operate in the field and what your rights and responsibilities are when they arrive.


WE’LL DISCUSS THE FOLLOWING:

    • Why would they come to your facility or Job site?
    • What happens after they show up?
    • What you should you do while they are investigating
    • What you MUST do if they issue citations
