Logo Use
As an SCCA member, Annual Partner, or sponsor, you grant the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) permission to use your company logo for association-related purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, event signage, SCCA merchandise, digital displays, and promotional materials. Your logo will not be used outside of association activities or shared with third parties without your prior written consent. If you have specific requirements or restrictions for logo usage, please inform us in writing.
Media Consent Information
As part of our ongoing efforts to highlight the work of our association and its members, photographs or videos may be taken for use in official SCCA communications. By entering this establishment, or attending SCCA events, you acknowledge that photos or video may be taken and used by the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) for promotional, educational, or informational purposes—such as newsletters, social media, and industry publications. Your presence constitutes consent to the recording and use of your image or voice without compensation. If you prefer not to appear in any photos or video, you may request an opt-out form via staff at info@sccaweb.org.
Member Features & Submissions
By submitting a photo, you confirm that you either own the image or have obtained permission from the original owner to share it. All submissions will be reviewed for potential use, but selection is not guaranteed. By contributing, individuals confirm their agreement to these terms and release SCCA from any liability related to the use of their submitted content. Press Release Policy
As part of our commitment to promoting the accomplishments and contributions of our members, the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) welcomes press releases and announcements from member companies. To ensure consistency with our mission and values, the following policy applies:
Submission Guidelines

- Press releases must be submitted to SCCA’s Communications Department at least two weeks prior to the desired publication issue or promotion date.
- Content should be relevant to the construction industry and/or reflect positively on the member’s involvement with SCCA or the industry as a whole.
Review and Use of Submitted Materials

- All submitted materials are subject to editorial review by SCCA. This includes the right to:
- Edit for length, style, clarity, and relevance.
- Decline publication of any press release that does not align with SCCA’s mission, values, or current communication priorities.
- Submission does not guarantee publication, distribution, or promotion via SCCA’s channels (e.g., newsletter, website, social media).
- To ensure equitable exposure for all members, SCCA reserves the right to limit the number of press releases accepted from a single company in a given calendar year.

Permissions and Usage Rights

- By submitting a press release to SCCA, the member grants the association a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and distribute the content for promotional, educational, or informational purposes.
- Members are responsible for ensuring all press releases are factually accurate and that all appropriate permissions and rights have been secured for any included imagery or quoted material.

Magazine
By submitting content to the Southern California Contractors Association (SCCA) magazine, contributors acknowledge and warrant that all imagery and text provided are original works. Contributors grant SCCA irrevocable permission to use, reproduce, and publish their submissions in the magazine, for promotional purposes, and on the SCCA website. By contributing, individuals confirm their agreement to these terms and release SCCA from any liability related to the use of their submitted content.
