Essential Road Safety Tips
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month:
Distracted driving has become a deadly issue on our roads. In 2024 alone, it claimed 3,208 lives nationwide. Cell phone use—including texting, calling, and social media—is the most common distraction, but everyday actions like adjusting GPS, eating, or changing the radio also take attention away from driving.
Even hands-free and in-vehicle technology can reduce focus and reaction time, increasing risk behind the wheel.
April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month and a reminder that when you’re driving, it should be your only task.
