Onsite Aerial Lift Safety Training

This 4-hour onsite course provides essential training on the safe operation of aerial and boom lifts. Participants will learn key safety principles, OSHA regulations, hazard awareness, and best practices to prevent accidents and ensure compliance. Ideal for construction professionals working at heights, this hands-on training helps create a safer job site while enhancing operational efficiency.

IMPORTANT:

  • Safety Toed Shoes are required– Each employee must wear safety shoes to participate in the hands-on evaluations.
  • Attendees must bring their fall harness for use during hands-on drills.
  • Up to 10 students per class

  1. Aerial Lift

    • Cal OSHA’s required Safe Operating Instructions (CCR Title 8 Section 3648)
    • General safe operating principles
    • Electrocution hazards
    • Vehicle safety inspection
    • Battery Charging safety

  2. Fall Protection

• Fall restraint
• Equipment selection, use, and inspection
• Fall Protection for Lift Equipment
• Body Holding devices – Harness – Waist belt – Horizontal Lifelines
• Donning & Doffing
